Daniela Fairchild Development Manager and Policy Analyst
Daniela is the development manager and policy analyst for the Fordham Institute. Donning many hats at Fordham prior to this role, Daniela has worked as a research intern, research assistant, and interim new-media manager. She started her career as a teacher of students with emotional and behavioral disabilities, and as a high school rowing coach. Prior to joining forces with TBFI, Daniela was a Global Development Initiative Fellow, working with Africare-Burkina Faso as a monitoring and evaluation specialist. Daniela holds a BA from Tufts University in international relations and an MSEd from the University of Pennsylvania in international educational development, with a focus on educational access for marginalized youth.
She is also the head coach of the Woodrow Wilson High School Crew Team--D.C.'s only public-school rowing team and oldest high school program.
