Matt Richmond Research Assistant


Matt Richmond is a research assistant at the Thomas B. Fordham Institute. Matt handles the day-to-day management of Fordham’s diverse array of research projects; ensuring published reports are strong on both content and design. Prior to joining Fordham, his work has included stints at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), as a counselor for the Autism Society of North Carolina, and aiding in the establishment of a school and micro-finance initiative in Nairobi, Kenya.

Matt holds Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Economics from the University of North Carolina and a Masters in International Development from the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School for Public and International Affairs.
