 The Thomas B. Fordham Institute invites you to an important and timely panel discussion of how school leaders can more effectively manage dollars, cut costs and improve finances overall.  This critical topic is the focus of a new book, Stretching the School Dollar: How Schools and Districts Can Save Money While Serving Students Best (Harvard Education Press, 2010), edited by Frederick M. Hess of the American Enterprise Institute and Eric Osberg of the Fordham Institute.

We’ll hear valuable thoughts and insights from Hess, Michael Casserly, J. Wm. Covington, and Karen Hawley Miles. Fordham Institute’s Michael Petrilli will moderate. A light lunch will be provided and guests will receive complimentary copies of Stretching the School Dollar.
