Dumbest generation also lazy/unchallenged
Mark Bauerlein, author of this book about dumb people and the harm they do, has the numbers.

These numbers suggest to me that perhaps this generation is considered “dumb” because they have not been challenged and have chosen to disengage.
Look at the info on social networking...maybe our schools should be doing something to better utilize technology in order to engage more students.
